Do you offer sliding scale fees?

Yes, we do offer a sliding scale for self-pay session fees. That is also true of our group sessions & educational offerings as well.

Please let us know if we can accommodate your needs by offering sliding scale fees. You may reach us via the contact form on this page, or via this email: Support@TheMindfulSpace.Co

We do our best to make our care as equitable & as accessible as possible.

Do you offer online sessions?

Yes, we offer online sessions to accommodate your needs and ensure accessibility. We offer individual and group sessions via video call or phone. In some cases, we can offer asynchronous care (also called store-and-forward telehealth because it is conducted via message exchange and does not occur in real-time) based on state laws & regulations and clinical details.

Asynchronous telehealth care is conducted via a secure messaging platform and may be appropriate for individuals working jobs or in circumstances where making traditional appointments may not be feasible. Again, eligibility is considered on a case-by-case basis based on state laws & regulations, insurance benefits, and if clinically appropriate.

How can I book a consultation?

You can book a consultation through our website's contact form or by clicking the "book today" button to start the registration & scheduling process.

You can also book via this link: https://secure.gethealthie.com/appointments/

Do you prescribe stimulants (like Adderall) or benzodiazepines (like Xanax)?

The Mindful Space is a virtual-only practice, and although that is often convenient and expands access to care, it also comes with limitations.

One of these limitations is that U.S. laws & regulations prohibit controlled-substances (or schedule II drugs) from being prescribed and managed via virtual-only practices.

Controlled substances, as the name implies, have additional controls or criteria attached to them, including but not limited to, being able to monitor clients/patients in-person, check pharmaceutical registers, and periodically repeat blood and urine testing.

During the 2020 covid-19 pandemic and through December 31, 2024, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) temporarily lifted these restrictions to allow clients/patients to receive care without the serious risk of in-person contact amidst the pandemic. These changes allowed the temporary prescribing and management of controlled-substances via virtual-only care. These temporary measures expired on December 31, 2024.

To learn more about the DEA and controlled substances, you may visit the links below.

You can find in-person care through several means, including but not limited to, contacting your insurance plan and searching online directories. A few sample directories have been provided below where you can search for in-person care. Thank you for your understanding.
